Reluy is a relocation consultancy service that helps individuals and families move to Uruguay. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Our Services

We provide relocation and immigration support, including:

  • general guidance on residency options
  • assistance with document preparation
  • housing search support
  • relocation and settlement assistance
  • referrals to lawyers and other professionals

The exact scope of services is defined individually with each client.

Reluy is not a law firm.

We provide informational, organizational, and practical support related to relocation and immigration, including accompanying clients in interactions with government authorities, assisting with document preparation, translation, and general guidance throughout the residency process.

Our services do not constitute legal, tax, or financial advice, and we do not provide legal opinions or legal analysis.

Reluy may accompany clients to government offices and assist in administrative procedures, including acting on behalf of clients where permitted. However, we do not act as attorneys or provide professional legal representation.

Where necessary, we may refer clients to independent licensed professionals, including attorneys and notaries who are part of our partner network. Such professionals provide services directly to the client and are solely responsible for their work.

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee results that are beyond our control, including the approval of residency or citizenship, as such decisions are made exclusively by the Uruguayan authorities.

Third Parties

We may refer you to third-party providers. We are not responsible for their services, actions, or results.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • provide accurate and complete information
  • submit documents on time
  • respond to communications promptly
  • attend scheduled appointments
  • comply with applicable laws

Providing false or misleading information may result in termination of services without refund.

5. Fees and Payments

Fees

All fees are communicated in advance and are typically charged in USD.

Payments

Payment terms are agreed individually. Services may require upfront payment or deposits.

Refund Policy

  • before work starts — partial refund may be issued
  • after work starts — fees are non-refundable
  • third-party costs are always non-refundable

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • we are not responsible for government decisions or delays
  • our total liability is limited to the amount paid for our services

7. Termination

Either party may cancel services with written notice. If cancellation occurs after work has begun, fees for completed or in-progress stages are retained to cover time and resources already committed. We will always communicate clearly what has been done before any amounts are retained.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay.

In the event of any dispute, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations.

If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montevideo, Uruguay.
